About Me
If Patty Duke can write a book, I can too
When Patty on The Patty Duke Show, circa 1966, wrote a book in one of the episodes, I decided I could write one, too. My sister and brother-n-law found my 9-year-old attempt at storytelling to be "cute" (or so they claim now) and had a good laugh. My Daddy recommended I use a pen instead of a pencil so it wouldn't smudge.

In high school, I taught myself how to type and moved up to a manual Remington typewriter, sitting on the floor with my knees up and my arms poked through my legs to reach the keys. Every day I would bring two or three pages into class for my friends to read, always ending the pages on a cliffhanger like "and then he heard the cock of a gun," even if I had to hold the paper in the typewriter to keep it from falling out so I could type those last, exciting words on the last 1/4 inch. White Out and erasable paper served as editing tools.

Flash forward to 1990. JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory), where I was lucky enough to work as a secretary in those early days, started a Writers Club and I led the Fiction Group. Those days inspired quite a few short stories that I still have affection for and will post here soon.
A lot of years passed since then, I am aware, and yet the time flew by. So here I am today writing novels and short stories on a laptop and saving them in the Cloud and communicating with all of you from this Website.
And every night after I crawl in bed, even if I haven't written a word that day, my mind is still plotting.
Fun Facts About Me

In addition to writing, I like to play boardgames, read manga, watch anime, and spend time with family.
