It's here!!

It's on the virtual shelf!

I'm also working to get it into the Ingram Spark database which means that bookstores and libraries can order it.

If you're a fan of "The Dragon King Invites You to Tea" I hope you'll find this a worthy successor. I'll add the full book description at the end of this post. (It's also on the Amazon page.) I don't believe you have to read the first one to enjoy this one though.

According to Google Drive, my first upload is dated June 13, 2025, so 15 months in the making? Not too bad since I was still working for the first six months.

FULL DESCRIPTION

No magic lasts forever.

In “The Dragon King Invites You to Tea,” Valred and Marigold discovered they shared a “happiest path.” Their family saga continues in “Heirs of the Dragon Kings.”

Like their mother Queen Marigold, Prince Alaric and Princess Aurora are human but are also descended from a powerful dragon bloodline. While Alaric finds the dichotomy difficult to reconcile, Aurora struggles against what might be a fated future that could take her away from the home she loves.

What is expected of a human prince of a dragon lands kingdom? Inheriting very little magic from his dragon king father, Alaric knows he can’t compete with strong, magic-wielding dragons who can join his father in the sky. All he can do is strive to be a strong human and seize opportunities to earn his royal title. And if he were to find love along his path, could he hold on to it if that love were human? His grandmother, the Grand Queen, is relying on him to marry a dragon and father dragon younglings to continue her blood line.

Aurora’s dreams are too real to be simple dreams. Her mother can see visions in tea leaves. Has she inherited this ability, and if so, are her dreams trying to tell her that someone will take her away? Will marrying a dragon anchor her to the kingdom and change her future? Or will her encounter with a young artist who dreams of seeing the world make her visions come true instead?

Meanwhile, the ancient enchantment that has ensured a peaceful coexistence between humans and dragons is failing, placing the dragon lands and the happiest paths of a new generation of dragon royals in jeopardy and reviving a decades-old vendetta.

Can humans accept that dragons exist without striking out in fear, or is there another solution? Can a human prince and princess help do what’s best for dragons?
